What a crazy week for Twitter! I think it took me about half an hour to get rid of all the “Haha, is this you???” messages we got from that phishing attack. Still, the show must go on so these are the facts we put on twitter this week; hope you like them…

In the Human Genome, Chromosome 7 has a Gene Which Was Named “Sonic Hedgehog”.

In 2006, this and other genes were given more professional sounding names because they were considered insensitive to those who suffer from mutations of these genes. I mean, how would you like to be told you have a genetic mutation in your ‘faint sausage’? Or that you are particularly sensitive to alcohol because you have a mutated ‘cheap date’ gene? Exactly!

Anyone up for risotto? You could feed the world’s hungry with this bad boy I reckon. The honey mushroom is well known for it’s ability to grow to huge scales but nobody expected to find one of this size!

In 2009 the World Record for Domino Toppling was Broken by Toppling Nearly 4.5 Million Dominoes.

Clearly some people have way too much time on their hands but it’s an incredible thing to watch.  The attempt was made at the annual ‘Domino Day’ event in the Netherlands and although part of the final section didn’t fall, 4,491,863 of the 4.8 million stones (dominoes) fell, smashing the previous record of 4,079,381 stones.

Mrs. Chips opened her own clothing store. She wasn’t sure how to price the items she had for sale so she devised her own method. At her store, a vest costs £20, socks cost £25, a tie costs £15 and blouse costs £30. She’s clearly insane but under Mrs. Chips pricing scheme, how much would underwear cost?
