Some of you may already know that I strongly support the BloggersUnite initiative and today is the day they have asked us to help spread the word and help to bring donations to those who really need it. It’s right that we should all do what we can in such horrific times.

I’m not going to hammer this point any more than that because I think we all know just how truly terrible the situation is in Haiti. Much of the difficulty is, I’m sure, yet to come. With so many dead and bodies simply left abandoned in the streets, the water supply is likely to become infected and disease will almost certainly become very difficult for them to manage. As a civilized society we all have a responsibility to help out if we at all can.
